Watch Live: 14 Startups Pitch New Productivity Solutions on Stage

Bright lights. Big stage.

The past four months of countless meetings, 3am bug bashing, and rain of epiphanies will culminate in 5 minute pitches where 14 startups will share their progress with the world.  Tune into the Seattle Accelerator Demo Day this Friday, July 10th to see how their hard work and dedication might result in your newest go-to solution to help you achieve more and be more productive at work or on the go.

Last December, our first Seattle Accelerator class took the stage to present their consumer-focused home automation products and services. This time around, our startups are working on solutions a little closer to Microsoft’s own wheelhouse: enterprise solutions. In our increasingly mobile world, startups have an incredible opportunity to create smart, powerful solutions that help people do more. From media collaboration to medical caregiver coordination to a communication platform for emergency responders, these 14 startups are helping advance a new wave of mobile productivity. These companies will join the ranks of alumni, along with the 410+ startups already graduated from our global accelerator programs.

Global resources with a Seattle touch.

Watch Live: 14 Startups Pitch New Productivity Solutions on Stage

As Seattle continues climbing the charts as a top city to launch a startup, it’s no wonder some of this cohort decided to relocate. Among the many reasons startups often choose Seattle, the city’s growing tech presence tops the list. It’s also an increasingly diverse city with access to a well-educated workforce, strong partnership opportunities, product development hackathons, and close proximity to countless other tech and business resources.

Globally, our accelerators aim to foster the growth of promising startups through unique access to technology, mentors, program management, startup connections, consumer insight, and distribution. We’ve seen 23 exits so far, and on average, our startups receive 79% follow on funding one year after graduation. Cumulatively, they’ve already reached $867 million in funding.

And this is just the beginning.

The startups selected for our programs continue to bring innovative new services to market year after year—and Seattle’s second batch is excited to share theirs with you on stage later this week. If you can’t attend Demo Day in Seattle, TechCrunch is hosting the live video stream starting at 4:00 PM PST.
