Microsoft Accelerator is partnering with online careers platform Jobbio to launch EXPAND London, a networking, upskilling, and careers event bringing together the brightest minds of London’s startup community. Startups, Talent, VC’s, and accelerators are invited to collaborate, innovate, and inspire each other over the course of the evening.

Microsoft Accelerator London and Jobbio helping to hire the best talents for Startups in London

EXPAND London was born from Microsoft Ventures and Jobbio’s shared commitment to empower entrepreneurs and ensure that missed career opportunities are a thing of the past. With over 600,000 companies launched in the UK alone last year and an increasing number of people joining startups every day, the demand for the right tools, insights, and connections to aid new entrepreneurs has never been greater.

Through a series of panel discussions and keynote speeches, EXPAND London will take budding entrepreneurs and young companies on the journey of a successful startup. Academics from General Assembly, UCL, and Cass Business School will share insights on how to embark on your entrepreneurial career. Inspirational founders, including Jessica Butcher of Blippar and Laurence Kemball-Cook of Pavegen, will discuss how they transformed their MVP into a success story. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn from some of the city’s best VCs and accelerators, including Level 39, Seedcamp, Seedrs, and Balderton Capital. Alongside this, General Assembly will provide workshops to sharpen your tech and design skills.

Startups will be provided with a platform to showcase their company and ideas in EXPAND London’s Exhibition Hall, enabling them to reach out directly to Talent searching for exciting companies to work with. Currently, a limited number of booths are still available. To register your interest, please email

Jobbio was launched in 2014 by brothers Stephen and John Quinn, in response to a broken recruitment model. Their mission was to provide companies with the hiring solutions they need to form successful teams and to give Talent the opportunity to find a job they love. Founded in Dublin, Jobbio has since opened offices in London and New York, and continue to be dedicated to connecting companies and Talent - directly and privately.
