Microsoft Accelerator in Tel Aviv Welcomes 11 Startups Ready to Scale-Up
The Tel Aviv Accelerator is proud to announce the commencement of its 9th batch. Our latest cohort brings together 11 impressive Israeli startups poised for growth with an average funding of $2.2 million.
During our previous batch, we introduced a shift in our model toward an accelerator program designed for market-ready startups to scale up. This approach allows us to meet the needs and stages of each of the participating startups. In this cycle, we’ve selected later-stage companies; not only has the average funding more than doubled, the team size, on average, is no less than 9 members. Plus, some of the participating startups are already generating revenue far beyond their garage phase.
Through our program, we help them grow into big companies and think beyond the ‘startup’ label. This reflects Israel’s current evolutionary process from “Startup Nation” to “Scale-Up Nation.” While we do target various fields, the program is sales- and biz dev-oriented.
In addition to many eager startups applying to our program online, this time around during the selection process, we reached out directly to several startups with big potential. After carefully examining all applicants, we handpicked those we believe are truly ready to scale. Our accelerator model is always evolving and we have chosen a promising bunch of startups to match that.
I’d like to congratulate and welcome each of the 11 promising startups to the Tel Aviv Accelerator. We wish them the best of luck!Today, we’re delighted to present the 11 startups that are joining Batch 9. The selection covers many verticals within the tech industry, such as Cyber Security, AgriTech, Bots, Big Data, Automotive, Enterprise Software and Healthcare, among others.
