Microsoft and Epicenter announce Microsoft Reactor in Stockholm
Date Updated: Sunday, November 24, 2019
Today in Stockholm, Microsoft and Epicenter unveiled plans to support the Swedish developer and startup ecosystem with a dedicated Microsoft Reactor events and community space where startups, enterprise developers and students can experience tailored business and technical programming in the flagship Epicenter Digital House of Innovation Sweden. Always free, Reactors provide community, ongoing education, and networking opportunities for developers of all stripes, as well as for founders and professionals in the start-up world.
Epicenter is located in the heart of Stockholm. In the words of its founders, the space was forged “by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs” and serves, as its name suggests, as the epicenter for the startup ecosystem. From mixed reality workgroups to mastering public speaking classes to seminars on understanding AI in robotics—and in between—Epicenter and Microsoft will curate an ongoing series of events, workshops and meetups in the space to empower their shared communities to increase their skills and opportunities.
Epicenter joins similar technology hubs where Microsoft has partnered with local governments, investors, and startup-enabling organizations including MaRS Discovery District in Toronto, Hub71 in Abu Dhabi and Station-F in Paris. Alongside our flagship Microsoft Reactor venues, these spaces allow us to deeply engage with technical professionals and startup communities where they reside.
